Life View Innovations LLC
Billing, refunds, and payment disputes
This information explains how Life View handles paid services, cancellations, refund requests, and payment concerns when a paid offering is available.
- Prices and material billing terms are shown before a paid purchase or change is completed.
- If a charge concerns you, please contact us so we can look into it with you before you open a payment dispute.
- Stripe refunds return to the original payment method; refund eligibility depends on the payment, service usage, applicable terms, provider rules, and law.
- Provider disputes, reversals, and fraud warnings can require temporary restrictions while we review the matter.
1. Scope and availability
This page applies when Life View offers a paid plan, proposal, service, add-on, or other paid transaction. A particular offering may have its own order, proposal, plan, or service-specific terms. If those terms expressly conflict with this page, they control for that offering.
Not every Life View service, account, organization, or feature has paid checkout available. We do not make a payment request or create a paid obligation until the applicable price and terms are presented to and accepted by the authorized customer.
2. Prices, authorization, and payment processing
Before a purchase, renewal, upgrade, or paid change takes effect, we will show the applicable price, currency, billing period, included allowances, usage charges, taxes when applicable, and material terms. By completing a paid transaction for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to do so for that organization.
Life View uses Stripe or another payment provider to process payments; we do not process card or bank payments ourselves. We do not ask you to enter a full card number or bank account number on a Life View page. For a Stripe payment, Stripe collects and secures those details through its hosted checkout under its own terms and privacy practices. Another payment provider may use a different checkout process and have different rules. A provider may decline, delay, reverse, or refund a transaction under its rules and applicable law. We rely on verified provider information before granting service credits to an organization or changing service access.
We send important billing notices to the organization's billing recipients, or to its owner if none are configured. Please keep those addresses current. A payment provider may also send a separate receipt or notice.
3. Service credits and recurring plans
Service credits measure eligible usage of a Life View digital service. They are not money, a bank account, an investment, or a general-purpose payment product, and cannot be withdrawn or converted to cash. Credits may only be used or transferred as allowed by the relevant service terms. Life View does not sell or ship physical goods.
Purchases grant the service credits or allowances shown at checkout; taxes do not add credits. For transactions processed through Stripe Managed Payments, Stripe or its affiliate is the merchant of record and handles calculation, collection, filing, and remittance of applicable indirect taxes, such as sales tax, VAT, or GST, in supported jurisdictions. Other payment arrangements may handle tax differently, as shown at checkout. Included allowances, purchased credits, promotions, coupons, and trials may have different conditions, including any applicable expiration shown in the service terms or offer.
A recurring plan renews as disclosed at purchase. Cancellation stops renewal while the plan remains available through its confirmed paid period, unless the provider confirms an earlier termination or another service restriction applies. Cancellation does not erase valid charges, usage, taxes, or other obligations incurred before it takes effect.
For ContactCore renewal failures, normal service continues during a provisional grace period, currently three days with Apple and one week with Stripe, according to verified provider status and deadlines. Monthly credits used during grace count toward the same cycle if payment recovers. If renewal recovery fails, unused provisional credits expire and Life View absorbs usage covered by that allowance rather than charging it retroactively to purchased credits or creating a debt for it. Other eligible usage and any existing credit debt retain their normal treatment. See the ContactCore Terms for details.
4. Cancellations and plan changes
Where the service offers cancellation, downgrade, or upgrade controls, it will show the effective time and any applicable settlement before confirmation. A downgrade may take effect at the next renewal so that a lower plan is not applied retroactively after higher-plan features or allowances have been used. An immediate change is effective only after the service presents and you confirm its terms.
Unused monthly allowances expire at the end of their applicable cycle. They do not automatically become purchased credits, cash, or a refund. Provider-confirmed changes and any refund follow the applicable purchase terms, provider rules, and law.
5. Refund requests
An authorized organization representative may request a refund through the billing-help option in the organization’s billing area. Please include enough information to identify the organization, charge, date, amount, and reason for the request. We may ask for reasonable information to confirm identity, authority, and the relevant transaction before sharing account information or making a change.
We review the original payment, service usage, unused eligible value, taxes, provider status, pending settlements, prior refunds, disputes, reversals, fraud warnings, and applicable law. If we issue a refund for a Stripe-processed payment, Stripe sends it to the original payment method used for that charge; it cannot be redirected to a different card or bank account. Your card issuer or bank may handle the return if the original card has expired or been replaced. If a refund fails, we will review the available options with you under the provider’s rules and applicable law. A request may be delayed or declined when the value has been used or already refunded, the requester is not authorized, a provider event remains unresolved, or law or provider rules prevent it.
For purchases through Apple, request a refund through Apple. Apple determines eligibility and processes any refund under its rules and applicable law; Life View cannot promise approval or a partial refund. Transferring eligible credits does not change their original payment provider or refund records. Nothing on this page removes rights provided by applicable law.
6. Questions about a charge
If a charge looks unfamiliar, duplicated, incorrect, or connected to a service problem, please contact us through billing help first if you can. We would value the opportunity to investigate it with you and may be able to resolve it quickly.
You may also contact your bank, card issuer, Stripe, another payment provider, or an appropriate authority. Please keep in mind that contacting us does not extend any deadline they set for reporting a problem or opening a dispute.
7. Payment disputes, reversals, and fraud warnings
If a bank, card network, Stripe, or another provider opens or reports a dispute, reversal, unauthorized-payment claim, fraud warning, or similar event, we may preserve the relevant payment and service evidence, review the affected organization and payment method, respond through the provider’s process, correct a previously credited balance, or temporarily restrict affected purchases, transfers, refunds, or services while the matter is reviewed.
A fraud signal or temporary restriction does not by itself mean that a customer committed fraud. We will review the available information and may request more information from the organization. We may restore access when the review and provider process allow it. We do not impose an undisclosed punitive markup merely because a dispute occurred.
8. Taxes, records, and corrections
Applicable taxes do not grant additional service credits. For eligible transactions using Stripe Managed Payments, Stripe or its affiliate handles the indirect-tax responsibilities described above in jurisdictions it supports. This does not cover every tax obligation Life View may have as a business. For any transaction not using Managed Payments, the payment terms shown at checkout and applicable law determine how tax is handled. Taxes on refunds are adjusted according to the payment provider’s process and applicable law. We keep records of payments, refunds, disputes, reversals, service usage, and corrections as needed for the service, accounting, security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or claims. A correction creates a linked record; it does not erase the original financial event.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this page as our services, payment methods, provider requirements, or applicable law change. The current version and effective date will remain at this address. If a material change requires notice or acceptance, we will provide it as required by law or the applicable service terms.
For a billing question, use the billing-help option in the applicable organization. For a question you cannot submit there, use the Life View contact form. Do not include passwords, passkeys, private keys, full payment-card numbers, or other credentials in a support request.
