Accounts
Delete a Life View account
Deleting an account is permanent. It removes the Life View sign-in identity, password, passkeys, active sessions, and notification delivery associated with that identity.
How to delete your account
- Sign in to Accounts using your existing Life View account.
- Open the Account page.
- Scroll to the Delete account section and review the consequences.
- Reauthenticate and confirm the deletion request.
What is not automatically deleted
Deleting an individual identity does not automatically delete an organization, its Forms, its plans, recurring obligations, balances, or business records. Every active organization must have exactly one Owner. If you are its Owner, you must delete the organization before deleting your account; an organization cannot continue without an Owner. ContactCore Form and submission deletion is managed through ContactCore’s web service and has its own authorization and safety period.
Records that may remain
Where an organization needs records, or where retention is necessary for security, fraud prevention, an applicable legal obligation, or a legal claim, limited organization, audit, security, payment, or wallet records may remain after account deletion. The applicable retention period can be years. Those retained records are not kept for ordinary use of the deleted account.
Deletion and operational backups
The service does not offer a way to restore a deleted account or its deleted content. Operational backups may temporarily retain copies; a completed deletion does not immediately remove every backup copy. Backup safeguards do not guarantee recovery. Limited organization, security, audit, financial, or legally required records may be retained for their applicable purposes.
